Document Description
Eastern Municipal Water District (EMWD) Perris Valley Regional Water Reclamation Facility (PVRWRF) collects and treats municipal sewage and produces recycled water for reuse. The PVRWRF service area is experiencing growth and based on current sewage flow rate projections, the PVRWRF's treatment capacity must be increased. To accommodate the projected future sewage flow increase in the service area and to provide more efficient operation of the PVRWRF while reducing energy consumption, EMWD is proposing to expand the PVRWRF's raw sewage capacity from 11 million gallons a day (MGD) to 22 MGD. The proposed expansion would include the following major items to be added, modified, or upgraded as part of the project:

- Waste Activated Sludge Thickening
