Document Description
The San Diego Regional Water quality Control Board is issuing a Clean Water Act Section 401 water quality certification (Cert. No. R9-2013-0124) to the project applicant, City of San Diego, Transportation and Storm Water Department. The applicant proposes ongoing maintenance of the Murphy Canyon Creek channel in reaches 1 and 2 to restore and maintain channel capacity to provide flood protection the surrounding businesses, roadways, and properties. The maintenance involves the periodic removal of trash, debris, vegetation and accumulated sediment from the channel.
