Document Description
The San Diego Regional Water Quality Control Board is issuing a Clean Water Act Section 401 water quality certification (Cert. No. R9-2018-0076) to the project applicant, City of San Diego, Transportation and Storm Water Department. The applicant proposes maintenance of the Auburn Creek channel in Reach 5 on the Master Maintenance Program Map 70 and Reach 1 on MMP Map 76 to restore and maintain the original design capacity for the purpose of providing flood protection to the surrounding businesses, roadways, and properties. The maintenance involves a one-time removal of accumulated sediment and debris from the channel.
