The City of San Diego proposes ongoing maintenance for a section of South Chollas Creek. Maintenance is necessary to restore and maintain channel capacity to provide flood protection for the surroundng businesses, roadways, and properties. The maintenance involves the periodic removal of trash, debris, vegetation and accumulated sediment from two reaches of South Chollas Creek Map 101, reach 2 and reach 3.
