Document Description
The proposal consists of a multi-family development encompassing 432 multi-family residential units and open space land uses. Related project features include a number of retaining walls, open space barriers (walls and fences) and public/private roadways and utilities, as well as landscaping. The project site includes a gross area of approximately 45.0 acres, with the described development to encompass approximately 22.4 acres, 2.1 acres proposed for retention as permanent open space, and 17.7 acres that would be the subject of future discretionary action. The remainder of the site will encompass rights-of-way for unrelated roadway development including portions of Caliente Avenue and a proposed east-west oriented Collector roadway. The proposed project is located in the western portion of the Otay Mesa Community Plan along Caliente Avenue, south of Airway Road.
