- The City of SHafter is amending the City of Shafter 2005 General Plan Update to implement the provisions of AB 170 (Air Quality), AB 162 (Flood-Related Policies), SB 244 (Disadvantaged Unincorporated Communities), SB 1241 (Urban-Wildland Interface), and AB 2140 (hazard Mitigation Plan). The general plan amendment adds new policies and information, as required by state law, to the adopted General Plan Update and related actions was prepared for General Plan Amendment No. 18-33.
