Under the update for City of Shafter Resolution No. 2358 Annexation No. 86, Resolution No. 2454 recognizes and approves minor legal description and map corrections for initiating Annexation No. 86. The corrections include adding the 100 foot wide Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad right-of-way along the eastern boundary of Annexation No. 86, on the east side of Santa Fe Way, north of 7th Standard Road and south of Burbank Street, as original proposed under Resolution No. 2358, and moving the western annexation boundary line thirty (30) feet west from the eastern right-of-way line of the Driver Road alignment i.e., the west line of Section 32. The 100 foot wide Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad right-of-way along the eastern boundary of Annexation No. 86 is prezoned for the Agriculture District under Prezoning No. 160-61 (Ordinance No. 679). The 30 foot correction for the western boundary of Annexation No. 86 is prezoned for the Agriculture District under Prezone No. 12-55 (Ordinance No. 660) as adopted for Annexation No. 83 in 2014.
Under the City of Shafter Resolution No. 2357 Initiating Annexation No. 83, Resolution No. 2456 recognizes and approves minor legal description and map corrections for initiating Annexation No. 83. The corrections include 1) adding the 100 foot wide Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad right-of-way along the eastern boundary of Area No. 1 of Annexation No. 83, on the east side of Santa Fe Way, north of 7th Standard and south of Burbank Street, as original proposed under Resolution No. 2357; 2) moving the Area No. 1 boundary line along the eastern right of way line of the Driver Road alignment thirty feet west to the centerline of said Driver Road alignment, i.e., the west line of Section 32; 3) moving the eastern boundary line of Area No. 2, south of Lerdo Hwy and east of Hwy 99, west to the eastern right-of-way line of Lerdo Canal; and 4) moving a portion of the western boundary line of Area No. 2, west of Hwy 99, from the western right-of-way line of Lerdo Canal to the centerline of Lerdo Canal. No update or corrections are required for Area No. 3. However, the legal description and map for Area No. 3 are recognized and approved with the subject update. The 100 foot wide Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad right-of-way along the eastern boundary of Area No. 1 of Annexation No. 83 is prezoned for the Agriculture District under Prezoning No. 16-62 (Ordinance No. 680). The remaining legal and map corrections in Area No. 1 and Area No. 2, as noted above, are prezoned for the Agriculture District under Prezone No. 12-55 (Ordinance No. 660) as adopted in 2014.
