CDFG is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (SAA #1600-2003-5053-R6) pursuant to Section 1601 of the Fish and Game Code with the project applicant. The applicant (Lennar Homes) proposes to construct 2,227 linear fet of concrete lining along the interior northern slope of the existing earthen Henderson Creek levee, construct 920 feet of concrete lined cutoff walls, and place 1,307 feet of riprap at the base of the levee. Mitigation for the loss of jurisdictional waters consists of the purchase of 3 acres of coastal sage scrub habitat as mitigation for permanent and temporary impacts.
