Document Description
Metropolitan has performed electromagnetic inspections of the Rialto Feeder, a prestressed concrete cylinder pipe (PCCP), originally installed in 1973. The electronmagnetic inspections have revealed 36 distressed pipe sections and eleven sections with anomalous readings. Metropolitan has authorized investigations to determine the condition of the anomalous segments, and final design and repair of the most distressed pipe sections. The repair will require dewatering of the pipeline.
