Document Description
The variance allows reducing the current groundwater monitoring program to eliminate excess monitoring points and frequency. Specifically, it allows Dupont to 1) conduct semi-annual rather than quarterly sampling at all-current post closure care monitoring points established under Article 6 (22 CCR, Chapter 14&15, Article 6, Water Quality Monitoring); and 2) limit annual Appendix 1X (22 CCR 66264, Appendix 1X) groundwater sampling to the designated point of compliance wells, rather than at all Article 6 monitoring points.
