Document Description
These pump and motor units will be used as replacementunits for existing units. In the event the South Bay Aqueduct Enlargement program EIR is approved, then these new units are to be installed as part of the new future expansion of the pumping plant to meet additional demand of 130 cfs; with one of the units being a spare unit. The purpose of the project is to increase reliability, meet additional demand, and enable off-peak pumping. Beneficiaries are the water users of the State Water Project.
