Document Description
The proposed project involves the removal of accumulated sediment from Crawford Creek, tributary to Russian River, Mendocino County for the purposes of flood channel maintenance. Applicant will use a small front end loader to remove material from the bottom 30% of the existing channel. Activities will not disturb existing banks or vegetation. The site of sediment removal is located at 9801 Largo Road off Highway 101 south of Ukiah, California. (Section 01, T14N, R12W). The Department of Fish and Game is issuing a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2004-0582-3 pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1602.
