Document Description
The site consists of an estimated 1,000 cubic yards of solid wasted dumped off the side of Orchard Road in past years that will be cleaned up using a contractor hired by the California Integrated Waste Management Board (CIWMB). Cleanup of the site will include collecting, segregating, and hauling solid and hazardous wastes to appropriate landfills or recycling centers. Disturbed slopes will be reinforced with erosion mats and hydroseeded after removal of waste, and Orchard Road will be repaired for damages from heavy construction equipment.
