Document Description
The project will develop non-permanent trail head parking and amenities on a 1/2 acre of previously disturbed land along Sunrise Highway (S-1) on the northern parcel of the Lucky-5 Ranch addition to Anza Borrego desert State Park. The improvements include: an 18,000 square foot day-use parking area with two ADA-compliant spaces; a double vault toiley; solar powered pump at existing windmill and conveyance to existing horse watering trough; low perimeter fencing; trailhead interpretive/regulatory signage; and an approximately 1/4 mile trail connector.
