Document Description
The project applicant graded approximately 13 acres of parcel 134-0173-013-0000 and parcel 134-0173-014-0000. The southern parcel (#134-0173-013-0000) had been leveled and a 4-foot tall dirts berm was constructed around the perimeter of a 2.4-acre rectangular area on the northern parcel (134-0173-014-0000). The berm was the only structure observed on the site. The project site is zoned A-5, which is an interim agricultural zone with a minimum lot size of five acres. This zone is similar in purpose and allowable uses to the Agricultural/Residential zone. The 1993 Sacramento General Plan designates the area as Agricultural/Residential. The project applicant is in the process of constructing a sturgeon (fish) rearing facility, which the Sacramento County Planning Department determined to be consistent with zoning and land use. No trees, listed species, waterways, or severe geologic hazards were observed on the site.
