Document Description
In ground installation of a coin operated binocular viewing machine at the Battery Ledyard overlook in Angel Island State Park. The adjacent Battery site is located down slope of the overlook so the viewing machine will not impact the Battery setting. A safety fence and resting bench are also located at this overlook. The machine will stand approximately 5 feet tall with a swivel binocular head supported by a 6" steel post. The base will be a concrete pad approximately 3 feet square and 8 inches deep buried flush to grade. Project supports interpretation and visitor services.
