Document Description
Metropolitan has authorized funding for design, procurement, installation, testing, and certification of new California Independent Systems Operator (CAISO)-compliant digital energy meters and associated telecommunication equipment for Metropolitan's 15 hydroelectric power plants. Metropolitan staff will prepare the design and equipment specifications, and install the equipment; a supplier will furnish the specified equipment, conduct operational testing, and provide certification for compliance with the CAISO standards.
