Document Description
The Crain Timberland Conversion converts 9.04 acres of marginal timberland of a 40 acre parcel to vineyard. The project requires a Timberland Conversion permit and Timber Harvest Plan approved by CDF and an Erosion Control Plan approved by Napa County. The TCP will exempt the landowner from the tree stocking requirements of the Forest Practice Rules following harvesting. Application of the Forest Practice Rules, Napa County ordinances and mitigation measures of the project reduce environmental impacts to a level of less than significant.
