Document Description
NOTE: Final Addendum to EIR 2001-110 Zoning Amendment, Revised Conditional Use Permit and Addendum to the Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for Calaveras Asbestos Monofill, Inc. (CAM) to analyze multiple requests relating to an existing, permitted Reclamation Plan/landfill located in southwestern Calaveras County. The requests retain substantially similar operations as they exist today, and include (1) local land use regulation designation changes, (2) permit modifications to clarify types and methods of waste handling and disposal, and (3) administrative record corrections. The project concerns technical topics, vetted with other public agencies and concerned citizens for which the California Integrated Waste Management Agency (CIWA) provided considerable input. Though not required under CEQA, the EIR Addendum is being circulated to the public to enable input from concerned citizens. The EIR Addendum identifies no new environmental impacts.
