The proposed project is for eradication of Arundo donax, an invasive weed, within the Santa Rosa and Mark West Creek Hydrologic Sub-Area of the Russian River, which includes Santa Rosa Creek, Mark West Creek, Windsor Creek, and all their tributaries. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2005-0161-3 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Sotoyome Resource Conservation District.
