Document Description
Certification of the East Cypress Corridor Specific Plan Revised Final EIR, including an amendment to the Oakley 2020 General Plan and adoption of the East Cypress Corridor Specific Plan. The Specific Plan includes planned development of mixed-uses for the 2,546-acre site. The project will allow up to 5,609 residential units (detached and attached units), 92.6 acres of commercial use (638,600 square feet), 52.6 acres of public schools (2 elementary, one middle), 152.3 acres of man-made lake, 190 acres of open space/easements, 20.5 acres of existing and proposed gas well sites, 122.1 acres of wetlands/dunes, 112.5 acres of flood-control levees (46,100 linear feet), 101.7 acres of parks (neighborhood and community), 5.7 acres of light industrial use (166,356 square feet), 37.3 acres of commercial recreation (162,500 square feet), and a 6-acre beach club. (note that 150 residential units may replace up to 20 acres of the 40 net acres of the Village Center site, which results in a maximum development of 5,759 residential units.)
