Document Description
The City of Huntington Beach, Public Works Department, proposes to construct a sewer lift station and install a gravity sewer main and forced sewer main. Sewer Lift Station. The sewer lift station site encompasses approximately 3,600 SF and includes various components. The lift station is 4 feet by 12 feet in area and is approximately 48 feet deep. The lift station includes a below grade stair case and hydraulic lifts in a vault. The site also includes a 6 foot by 16 foot area for an above grade 10-foot high emergency power generator. A water tank and air gap tank are also part of the lift station site. Two landscaped areas are proposed; one on the western side of the site and one on the northeastern side of the site. An approximately 8 to 10-foot retaining wall is also proposed on the southern side of the site and 2 to 3-foot high walls are proposed adjacent to the landscape areas. Access to the lift station site will be provided off of Warner Avenue and Los Patos Avenue. Gravity Sewer Main. A 24-inch diameter gravity sewer main is proposed within the paved rights-of-way of Warner Avenue and Pacific Coast Highway and extends approximately 4,020 LF. The gravity sewer main will be located approximately 20 feet below ground surface. Forced Sewer Main. A 14-inch diameter forced sewer main is proposed to extend from the sewer lift station to approximately 400 feet east along Los Patos Avenue. The forced sewer main is proposed to be located approximately 20 feet below the surface.
