Document Description
The County of San Luis Obispo proposes to make improvements to Santa Ysabel Avenue to slow vehicular traffic and increase pedestrian safety within that portion of Santa Ysabel Avenue. Components of the project include: median "islands" near the intersections of odd-numbered streets, pedestrian crosswalks, ADA compliant curb and gutter improvements, paved turnouts with metal and glass bus shelters, a pedestrian walkway, and low lighting bollards at all median islands and crosswalks. The project is located on Santa Ysabel Avenue, between South Bay Boulevard and 7th Street, in the community of Los Osos. The total area of disturbance is estimated to be 0.46 acre.
