Document Description
The proposed project is an expansion of the effluent disposal site (spray field) for the Madera County owned North Fork sewage treatment plant, which is operated by the County of Madera Maintenance District No. 8A. The existing spray field has a waste discharge permit allowing it to dispose of an average daily flow of 31,000 gallons. The North Fork plant that feeds the spray field has an operating design rating of 57,000 gallons per day (gpd) and is capable of treating up to 60,000 gpd.
