Document Description
The project proposes to expand, reconfigure and make necessary facility improvements to the existing Huntington State Beach Lifeguard Headquarters and Training Facility. The project will entail a partial demolition of the existing structure, and addition of new building areas. The "island" the building sits within will also be enlarged approximately 18 feet to the north into the existing parking lot. The proposed project will increase the size of the facility from about 5,000 SF to approximately 10,550 SF. The project will also provide for landscaping around the building and ultimately the removal of storage containers and office trailer located in the parking lot.
