Reasons for Exemption
The proposed elements of the project are consistent with Section 15303, Class 3 (e) of the State Guidelines for the implementation of CEQA. The construction of new shade structures (including slab), basketball courts (concrete, poles, backboards and lighting), barbeque braziers, concrete picnic tables and ADA walkways and access are consistent with Class 3 which provides for construction and location of limited numbers of new, small facilities or structures. This includes, but is not limited to Class 3 (e) which provides for accessory (appurtenant) structures.
