Document Description
At the entrance station of Loafer Creek Campground-Lake Orovilles State Recreation Area, traffic circulation will be improved by shortening the island north of the entrance station. Also, additional parking spaces will be installed to accommodate visitors needing to park and consult with station staff. These parking spaces will further alleviate traffic congestion. One parking space will be designated to meed Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. Aggregate base rock will be covered with 2" of asphalt to create and extend the parking areas. Grading and fill material will be placed as far away as possible from the drip line of adjacent oak trees.
