Document Description
Resurface the existing parking lot and improve accessibility at the Natural History Museum in Morro Bay State Park. Resurface parking lot and ingress/egress drive aisle; place a barrier/dike along a portion of the entrance road to prevent surface water run-off from draining into the bay; and restripe parking stalls. Restripe adjacent Marina parking lot to accomodate tour buses. Excavate existing sidewalk sections and a portion of several parking stalls to improve visitor access. Widen section of sidewalk to five feet and add sidewalk drops/curb cuts (approximately 40 feet in length) to meet ADA requirements. Provide a bus loading/unloading zone in museum parking lot. Install informational and directional signage.
