Document Description
RM 7. OR site access has been modified to occur at University Park. In order for hauling equipment to access the parkway at this location, the levee will be degraded approximately 4 feet and a temporary waterside access ramp will be constructed. At completion of the project, this access ramp will be removed and the levee will be restored to its current height and condition.

Reasons for Exemption
Degrading a project levee and installation of a temporary waterside ramp is a minor alteration of an existing public flood protection facility. These alterations will not expand the use beyond its current use. No woody vegetation or sensitive species occur in the project area. These minor alterations to the existing appurtenant structures will be constructed under the supervision of DWR.
