The petitioner seeks the right to modify License 10246 by adding a second point of diversion (Well 4), decreasing the place of use from 85 acres to 74 acres, and correcting minor discrepancies in the description of the location of the place of use and the point of diversion (Well 1) authorized under this license. The petitioner holds a separate water right, Permit 20091, authorizing Well 4 to be operated for frost protection of 70 acres of the place of use. Well 4 was constructed in 1971. The project is located in Mendocino County. No changes in the purpose of use, amount of water appropriated, or the season of diversion are proposed.
