Document Description
ConocoPhillips has proposed a Pilot Study to evaluate the feasibility of traditional sand mining methodologies as an alternative sediment removal method. Harbor Sand & Gravel, a sand mining company will remove 2,200 cubic yards of sandy material from the ConocoPhillips marine terminal and take it to it's Redwood City facility for dewatering prior to commercial reuse. The effluent from the dewatering process at the Redwood City facility is regulated by the Water Board under a separate Waste Discharge requirements/NPDES permit.
