Document Description
Preparation of a Specific Plan to cover a 98+ acre, 20-block area of Downtown Vallejo, which is currently developed with a mix of retail, office, civic and some residential land uses. The Specific Plan will introduce new land uses. The Specific Plan will introduce new land use regulations, development standards and design standards for the Downtown Vallejo area to promote and facilitate revitalization and redevelopment. The Specific Plan will include a plan to redevelop seven City/Redevelopment Agency-owned surface parking lot sites within the Plan area. Preliminary development plans for one of these parking lot sites (Virginia Street site, APN 0056-191-10 & 26 will be reviewed concurrent with the Specific Plan review process. The Virginia Street site proposed to be redeveloped with 156 residential units and 7,400 square-feet of ground floor commercial retail and 5,900 square feet of live-work uses.
