Document Description
The NCSP proposes parameters for future development in the 700-acre Plan Area. The NCSP proposes approximately 2,445 new housing units and up to 442,994 square feet of community-serving retail. It also identifies a network of open space including parks and trails, as well as necessary infrastructure including new roadways and storm drainage facilities. The NCSP would require a General Plan amendment (GPA), an amendment to the City of Chico Sphere of Influence (SOI), and annexation of land within the Plan Area into the City of Chico.
