The authorized project included specific levee modifications to the left bank of the Yuba River upstream of the confluence with the Feather River; the left bank of the Feather River downstream of the confluence of the Yuba River; and the Marysville ring levee. The purpose of the SEIS/SEIR is to reevaluate the previously authorized project and other alternatives to reduce flood damages and restore riparian and aquatic habitat.
