Document Description
Project consists of the remediation of the former shooting range and pistol range sites located within upper Bidwell Park. Due to the past activities at the shooting range, fragments of clay pigeons, lead shot, and occasional bullets are apparent on the ground surface or immediately beneath the surface. At the former Police Pistol Range site, the log retaining wall and imported sand and gravel berm that contains spent bullets will be removed and disposed of in the on-site containment cell. Both remediation sites, as well as the current parking lot at Horseshoe Lake, will be revegetated using native grasses.
