Document Description
The City of Chula Vista is seeking a Skate Parks and Recreation Department grant for the recently constructed 21,200 sf Len Moore Skate Park, located on a 1.3-acre site immediately east of the Chula Vista Boys and Girls Club building within the southeastern portion of Greg Rogers Community Park. The project site was formerly a playground for the Boys and Girls Club. The skate park is leased by the Boys and Girls Club, which operates the facility. Facility improvements include a 420 sf restroom building, 420 sf office/rental storage building, four seating bleachers covered by three shade structures, vehicle turnaround/drop-off area within the northeastern portion of the Boys and Girls Club parking lot, and landscaped plaza areas. The initial hours of operation for the skate park are 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, Sunday through Thursday, and 9:00 am to 10:00 pm, Friday and Saturday.
