Document Description
The project consists of a comprehensive update of the City's current General Plan, and related actions, including but not limited to, amendments to the Otay Ranch General Development Plan, Otay Ranch Resouce Management Plan, and City of Chula Vista MSCP Subarea Plan, and sunsetting of the Montgomery Specific Plan. In addition to proposed citywide and area-specific goals, objectives, and policies, changes to land use designations and the circulation network are proposed in some areas. The proposed General Plan Update includes the following elements: Land Use and Transportation, Economic Development, Public Facilities and Services, Environmental, and Growth Management, along with the current Housing Element. The General Plan Update also contains additional chapters, including an implementation chapter.
