Document Description
The City is proposing a Circulation Element Amendment to that portion of Linda Vista Drive between Poinsettia Avenue and Tilley Lane / Linda Vista Drive intersection. Linda Vista Drive will be shifted to the south to connect at the intersection of Activity Drive (in Vista) and Poinsettia Avenue. La Mirada Drive, currently extending from Las Flores Drive to Poinsettia Avenue, will be terminated between Virginia Place and Poinsettia Avenue as a cul-de-sac. Other non-Circulation Element local road changes are: Tilley Lane will be classified as a collector street (48 feet curb to curb within a 68 right-of-way) and improved from Linda Vista Drive to La Mirada Drive. Virginia Place will be classified as a residential street (40 feet curb to curb within a 60 right-of-way) north of Linda Vista Drive to La Mirada Drive. The length of Virginia Place will be determined by balancing the environmental impacts and access to existing properties and future developments.
