- Document Description
- The project involves the extension of an existing boat ramp at the Third Street Boat Ramp in Lakeport, Lake County (Section 24, T14N; R10W). The existing boat ramp will be widened and deepened and will include the installation of suspended boat boarding platforms. A sheet-pile retaining wall shall be constructed along the bank adjacent to the boat ramp. The project shall require the demolition and excavation of the existing concrete abutments with Clear Lake and installation of a sheet-pile retaining wall. Steel pipe pilings shall be driven into Clear Lake to provide support for the suspended boarding platforms. Base material, leveling rails and pre-cast concrete ramp segments shall be placed on the lake bottom. The new concrete boarding platform will be cast in place above the water line of Clear Lake. The second phase of the project will replace the existing rock slope protection with a sheet-pile retaining wall. This will require the removal of aquatic and riparian vegetation for approximately 300 linear feet. The CDFG is executing a renewal of Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2004-0367-3 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code.
