Document Description
Acquisition of 10 acres of relatively undisturbed coastal dune habitat adjoining the recent 40-acre Powell II addition to Morro Bay State Park (SP). Property is being gifted to California State Parks in support of a joint state and federal effort to create a green belt between Morro Bay SP and Montana De Oro SP. The property will remain in its existing natural condition, with a continuation of on-going activities, until such time as a management plan is prepared, including completion of the CEQA/NEPA project evaluation and public review process, or it is incorporated into Morro Bay State Park and subject to land use restrictions of the Morro Bay SP General Plan.
