Document Description
4,000 acre feet of non-state water project water available through the 2004 Temporary Water Transfer Program for the San Joaquin River Exchange Contractors Water Authority will be transferred to Madera Irrigation District using available transportation capacity in existing conveyance facilities, including State Water Project Facilities. The purpose of this project is to optimize the use of available water resources for the production of agricultural crops or livestock, to prevent crop damage or lost agricultural productivity in 2004, a year of low water deliveries.
