The proposed project is to authorize a plan for vegetation maintenance along Soquel Creek near downtown Soquel Village for a period of five years. The purpose of this project is to prevent potential debris jams at the Soquel Drive (Bargetto) Bridge that would exacerbate flooding in downtown Soquel by selectively removing vegetation from Soquel Creek in the vicinity of the bridge. The project is located at a sand bar, 300 feet upstream of the Main Street (Bargetto) Bridge, near downtown Soquel, California.
