Document Description
The proposed new 30-year lease of the Shell Marine Oil Terminal (Shell Terminal) located on 19.26 acres of California sovereign lands would allow Shell Oil Products US to continue transfers of crude oil and petroleum products between vessels and its upland facilities. The Shell Terminal and refinery have occupied the current location since 1915, processing hydrocarbon fuels and asphalt, with an approximate average throughout of 155,000 barrels per day. The Shell Terminal is located on the south shore of the Carquinez Strait, in Contra Costa County, approximately 0.6 miles west of the Benicia - Martinez Bridge in the City of Martinez.
