Document Description
The California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) adopted an Addendum to the previous Environmental Impact Report and approved the renewal of the Hazardous Waste Facility Permit (Permit) to Western Digital Technologies, Inc. (WDT), pursuant to California Health and Safety Code, Chapter 6.5, and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). The Permit authorizes WDT to continue the following hazardous waste management activities for another ten years: container storage and waste bulking in Building 42, storage of hazardous wastes in tanks within waste vaults at 5 locations, and industrial wastewater treatment at Building 110, A Plant (referred to as the Concentrate Wastewater Treatment System).
