Document Description
The project would include the demolition of the existing 24,400-sf wharf, including substructure and pilings, as well as the existing approximately 21,000 sf, 18-foot tall fish processing building. After demolition of Wharf J-10, the Port would improve the site by repairing the existing seawall, creating a level surface along the north side of Fish Alley, and stabilizing the water's edge with rip rap. After demolition, the existing tenants of the site would have the option of rebuilding facilities to serve their businesses. In addition, the Port would construct an approximately 3,435 sf fish receiving wharf within a portion of the area now occupied by the existing fish processing building on Wharf J-10.
