Document Description
The proposed Project, located at Sunol Valley Golf Course in Alameda County, includes (1) improvement of the spillways at Pond 3 and Pond 4; (2) relocation of the irrigation water pump system at Pond 5; (3) relocation and improvements of the existing access road to Pond 3 to allow for heavy equipment access to the Pond 3 spillway; (4) filling in the area below the existing spillway at Pond 3 to protect the petroleum pipeline from erosion; (5) raising the level of the existing earthen dam at Pond 3 approximately 2 feet to allow for construction of new spillway (will not increase capacity of Pond 3); and 6) stream channel restoration downstream of Pond as part of mitigation for the overall project. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2009-0315-3 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Bryan Richardson/Sunol Valley Golf Course.
