The existing zoning and general plan land use designations include: General Commercial - Planned Development (CG-PD); Medium Commercial (CM); Light Manufacturing Residential (MLR), Heavy Manufacturing Coastal Zone (MH-CZ), Open Space Coastal Zone (OS-CZ), Light Manufacturing Planned Development Coastal Zone (ML-PD-CZ), Medium Manufacturing Coastal Zone (MM-CZ), Tourist Commercial Coastal Zone (CT-CZ), Tourist Commercial Planned Development Coastal Zone (CT-PD-CZ), Automotive Commercial Planned Development (CA-PD), and Automotive Commercial Planned Development Coastal Zone (CA-PD-CZ).

Document Description
The redevelopment plan amendment proposes to extend the authority for the Community Development Commission to use eminent domain until 2014 to acquire vacant, commercial, and industrial property in the National City Redevelopment Project Area located west of Interstate 805. The Amendment excludes single-family residences.
