Document Description
The project is to issue a minor waste tire permit to the Copper Chopper Inc. for its facility located at 14928 S. Maple Avenue, Gardena, CA. A minor permit authorizes storage of up to 4,999 waste tires and requires the storage of those tires to meet waste tire storage standards and permit conditions set forth to minimize potential impacts to public health and safety and the environment. The approval and issuance of a waste tire facility permit is considered a discretionary decision and is therefore subject to CEQA.
