Document Description
The proposed project entails the amendment of the Stanton Consolidated Redevelopment Plan which was adopted in 2004. The purpose of the amendment is to eliminate the conditions of remaining physical and economic blight in the Consolidated Project Area. The amendment proposes to: increase the tax increment limit to the Stanton Redevelopment Agency for the Stanton Community Development Project Area, a portion of the Consolidated Project Area; eliminate the annual maximum amount of tax increment collected by the Agency; and include additional capital improvement projects into the Consolidated Redevelopment Plan such as developing two new parks, implementing street beautification projects and replacing storm drain channels. Details of the proposed amendment are included in the Initial Study.
