Document Description
The Santa Barbara County Public Works Department, Solid Waste and Utilities Division, is proposing to repair a 0.25-acre portion of the cover of the former Burn Dump site that has eroded away over the past 45 years. The project would require clearing and grubbing of the existing vegetation and placement of soil over the site, along with revegetation to ensure that the site is properly closed and maintained in a manner that protects public health and safety, and the environment. The project is required under order from the Regional Water Quality Control Board and the Santa Barbara County Public Health Department.
